Empowering the Future: Raising Queens Event Recap
On November 23rd, 2024, the Raising Queens Empowerment Event brought together over 25 inspiring young ladies and more than 20 supportive adults for a day dedicated to connection, empowerment, and growth. The event was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and the importance of uplifting the next generation.
Event Highlights at a Glance
- Networking Activities: The day began with meaningful connections as the young ladies engaged in networking activities that encouraged relationship-building and camaraderie.
- Unbound: Releasing to Rise Activity: Participants reflected on what was holding them back from being their best selves and released those barriers through guided exercises, leaving them feeling lighter and stronger.
- Words of Worth Activity: Emotional empowerment letters written by the girls to each other created a heartfelt moment of affirmation and bonding.
- Queens Rise Awards: Two exceptional young ladies were recognized for their academic excellence and program participation, each receiving a $500 scholarship.
- Dinner & Panel Discussion: After enjoying a wonderful meal, the attendees engaged in a dynamic panel discussion featuring topics like self-esteem, healthy relationships, and mental health.

The panel was hosted by the amazing Comedian Kelly Kelz, who kept the day engaging and fun.
